1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing ContentOS Studio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ContentOS Studio is a content production system that generates video scripts using AI. The Service includes script generation, Brand Brain, series management, export tools, and related features.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
You must create an account to use the Service and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 years old to purchase a paid plan.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds
The Service offers a free tier and a paid Creator plan (£9.99 per month), plus optional Overflow top-ups. Paid plans bill monthly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; you keep paid access until the end of the current billing period, and we do not pro-rate partial months. If you are a consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period after subscribing under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations; this period ends once you begin generating scripts, because the digital service has then been provided. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all scripts you generate using the Service. ContentOS Studio does not claim any rights to your content. You grant us a limited licence to process your content through our systems for the purpose of providing the Service. Scripts you choose to share through a public link are your responsibility to share.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to create or share content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others. This includes, without limitation: impersonating a real person or passing AI output off as their genuine words; deepfake-style deception; child sexual abuse material or extremist content; large-scale political disinformation; defamation or intellectual-property infringement; and using the Service or its output to train a competing AI model. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this.
7. AI Output Disclaimer
Scripts are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or unsuitable for a given purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before you use or publish it. The Service does not provide professional advice.
8. Copyright and Takedowns
If you believe content shared through the Service infringes your copyright, email support@contentosstudio.com with the details. We will review, remove infringing content where appropriate, and may terminate repeat infringers.
9. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uptime on the current plans. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content or your misuse of the Service.
12. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close your account for a breach of these terms or for non-payment, and where reasonable we will give you notice and a chance to export your data first.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer protections you are entitled to in your country of residence.
14. General
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest remain in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. We may assign these terms; you may not without our consent. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
